Choose what happens after each spin, how long the spin runs, and whether a name should come up more often than the rest.

Questions about the wheel
Is the wheel really random?
Yes. The pick is made by your browser's cryptographic random number generator the moment you press Spin, so the animation cannot change it and neither can how hard you flick it. The method is written out in full on the fairness page, and you can run a 50,000-spin audit yourself.
Can I make one name come up more often?
Give it a weight between 1 and 100. A weight of 3 makes a name three times as likely as a weight of 1, and its slice grows to match, so nobody watching is misled.
Do my names get saved anywhere?
They stay in this browser. Nothing reaches our servers unless you share the wheel, open a join list, or ask for a draw record — and the page tells you each time.
Does it work in my language?
The wheel is in English, Arabic, Spanish, Russian, Chinese and Portuguese, and the whole page turns around for right-to-left. Names can be in any script, mixed on the same wheel.
How many names can I add?
Up to 1,000, and the first 500 of them go on the wheel — a thousand slivers are unreadable anyway. More than 1,000 names? The random name picker handles up to 200,000.
Does it work without a connection?
Once the page has loaded, spinning, picking and teams keep working offline. Sharing and join lists need a connection.
Can a class use it?
Yes. Classroom mode keeps the roster on the teacher's device, remembers who has already had a turn, and never shows an ad on the projector.
What do other people see when I share?
The wheel and its names, once they open the link. The preview that appears in a chat shows the number of names, never the names themselves.
Can I use it to give something away for money?
No. Namesome is payment-blind: there are no tickets, no entry fees, no prizes and no betting odds anywhere in it, and the terms forbid using it for gambling.
